Sirbonius, the local patron saint.

They were digging in a graveyard connected to the town's 800 year old church when they came up with something unexpected.

There they discovered the skeletal remains of two women when the archaeologists believed to have been between 25 to 30 years old at the time of their death.

Now, finding skeletons in a graveyard isn't exactly a big surprise.

But it's the way these women were buried that struck everyone as unusual.
