1:17.0	And as I recall, this step of the noble eightfold path includes those intentions and aspirations
1:29.2	that lead to wholesome actions and result in the welfare and happiness both of ourselves and others.
1:37.6	These are thoughts of renunciation, thoughts of goodwill, and lastly thoughts of compassion which is free of all cruelty and in this last section of right thought, the dichotomy between skillful and unskillful is so unambiguously clear.
2:01.0	There's cruelty wishes to clear. unnecessary pain or suffering. It's a feeling of extreme heartlessness, disconnectedness.
2:20.0	And we see the manifestation of this mind state of cruelty in many situations of violence
2:27.3	throughout the world.
2:30.3	Sometimes this feeling or mind state almost seems contagious, you know, with whole
2:37.3	populations involved in killing fields of destruction, You know whether in Cambodia, in Rwanda, in Darfur, so many
2:47.8	places in the world where this is like a mass madness takes over.
2:54.3	And it's this particular mind state of cruelty.
