Summary

It's our first book episode of 2019! Today we are talking about Little White Lies by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. We loved it! It's a little bit Gossip Girl and a little bit Pretty Little Liars or Paper Princess. This book is soap opera-level drama and it has a twist so good, even Grace didn't see it coming! We can't wait to hear your thoughts on this book. Speaking of books, Grace finished her tenth book of 2019 this weekend, while Becca finished her seventh. Also, Grace has resolved to only buy books from bookstores, and Becca can't stop buying cookbooks!

Also in this episode, we read our favorite review we've ever gotten (TexasListener101… we're looking at you!) where we were compared to Sex and the City characters. To top it all off, Tyrion is ultra stoned on catnip!

0:26.0	Yeah, so today we're going to talk about Little White Lies.
0:29.0	Yeah, so this is by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. It's a YA book or first book of 2019.
0:34.0	Although I've been reading a ton. Yeah, me too. I'm on book seven.
0:38.0	Ooh, I don't know what I am. I think I'm I'm think I'm like book ten, but only because I read I finished two books this weekend.
0:47.0	I only had like ten pages left of one and then I read one all day yesterday. We'll talk about it later.
0:52.0	I want to hear all about it. And I started another one and I think it's like book ten or eleven.
0:55.0	Wait, before we get to our book, I want to hear your highs and lows. I haven't seen you. You weren't Charles and I haven't seen you in like a week and a half.
1:02.0	Yeah, it's been a while and we canceled on each other twice this weekend.
1:06.0	It was rude but glorious. This anti social weekend was one of my highs. So I have a couple highs. My um my weekend Charleston with my parents was so much fun.
1:18.0	It was only there for three nights, but it was just so nice getting to see their house and where they're living and like how is their new house?
1:25.0	It's really cute. So it's very small and it's just like perfect for them. There's their bedroom is on the lower level.
1:31.0	And they've got like this open like living area that upstairs. They kind of have I guess a den office area and two bedrooms and another bathroom.
1:39.0	How's your dad's fancy kitchen? Um, it's really nice. It's very very fancy. They've got great new appliances.
1:46.0	I think like we are like old house people. So we grew up in an old house and renovated parts of it and then the house that they rented when they sold the restaurant was an old house.
1:56.0	So they've never lived somewhere that was brand new or had like brand new appliances or like brand new furniture like they got all new furniture from pottery barn and like it's very nice.
2:09.0	And it's very pretty. It's really cute seeing them.
2:12.0	Oh, I'm so glad they're happy. How's Muddy?
2:15.0	Muddy, so Muddy for everyone who doesn't know is the family dog. She is a walking burlopad slash part airdale part Welsh terrier.
2:24.0	And she is crazy.
2:26.0	So Becca and her bond did this summer when Becca came home to Cape Cod with me and she, but she was, she loves me.
