but the podcast is called Rumble with Michael Moore. We have with us here in our podcast studio

sitting atop a movie theater here somewhere in New York City. A filmmaker that I've admired

for many, many years and I'm really excited and happy to have him on the podcast today.

My guest here in the podcast studio is none other than the great filmmaker John Sales.

Let's just jump right into this because you have made so many great films that were very

important to me, but I'm going to start right at the beginning. I mean, for people that,

if you live out there in Topeka and all you have is the shopping mall cinema, they're not too

conducive to showing the great films. Even the ones this year, if you live in Topeka, I don't know

if you've been able to see Parasite or JoJo Rabbit. Maybe you have, maybe it's way there.

But the truly indie films, the ones that are made without the heavy hand of the studio,

you don't get to see them in large swaths of the country. But John, you were really a pioneer
