This story has absolutely nothing to do with what I want to talk about on the show today,

but it is so funny.

Reuters did a study, and when I say a study, they actually did work to trace back the ancestry

of all the living U.S. presidents, plus members of Congress, plus members of the U.S. Senate,

in order to determine which high ranking politicians in our country are descended from slave

owners.

Well, you might be thinking this is the most critical race theory thing I've ever heard,

and you would be absolutely correct about that.

But listen to this statistic, this is what Reuters found, and just a little forewarning

here.

If it turned out differently than it did, you'd be seeing a lot more headlines about it.

So there are how many living U.S. presidents right now.

There's Biden, there's Obama, there's Bush, there's Clinton, there's Jimmy Carter, and

there is Trump.

That's six U.S. presidents, living U.S. presidents.

And this is what Reuters found.

Joe Biden and every living former U.S. president, except Donald Trump, are direct descendants

of slaveholders, Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and through his white mother's

side, even Barack Obama.

Trump's ancestors, however, came to America after slavery was abolished.

Let me repeat that, my friends.

Every living U.S. president, except Donald Trump, has descended from slave owners.
