I'm believing that God is going to speak to you through His Word and that you're going

to be equipped and empowered to fulfill your God-given purpose.

You know, I recently bought Nick a pair of AirPods Pro 2 because they have a hearing aid feature that

can help with mild to moderate hearing loss. Can I just tell you that after 29 years of marriage,

I found that Nick was increasingly never like really being able to hear me when I asked him

to do something around the house, like simple things like, honey, you're going to mow the lawn or can you take out the trash or, you know, can you

pick up your socks? You know, he would always say to me, Chris, I didn't hear you. Chris, I didn't

hear you. So I told him that these new AirPods had adjustable settings so that he can adjust

the amplification and the balance and the

tone. And then he could hear me when I asked him a perfectly reasonable question that every wife

loves to ask their husband. Well, Nick was slightly offended at what I thought was an awesome

gift. So he decided to go to the ear-nosed and throat doctor to get his hearing checked. Now, I've got to tell

you, I've never seen the man so excited that when he came home and he had a report from the

doctor that said, bona fide, verified that he actually suffered from high-frequency hearing loss.

So he was not at all pretending not to hear me. There's just certain frequencies that
