Hi guys, I'm Emma and I'm Julie and welcome back to another episode hey jewel I am I am I'm I'm I'm I'm I'd like to start by reading a tweet about the Emmys that really hit for me. It was from

Ian Carmel and he said, I know we're supposed to hate everything but I feel like this has

been a really fun broadcast made by people who love TV for people who love TV. And I just

really felt that because I feel that recently I go into

award shows not necessarily expecting to dislike them but I'm not as enthused as I used to be. I think

there's a little bit of award show show fatigue at least for me. And last

night I was really thoroughly enjoying myself and I was so happy to see other people sharing that sentiment.

The way I feel about it is I just fucking love television.

If you were to ask me what's my favorite thing in the entire world,

I would probably say to you TV,

and I just felt like last night paid such a beautiful tribute

to like the television that we are all

currently watching and the past TV shows that we love so much.

Freden specifically when you're comparing the Emmys to an award show like the Oscars

which of course technically is more prestigious.
