Where to start today?

Well, first we lost a good friend of the show, Gary Rourke of U-Bond's Barbecue.

And we didn't lose him like OP loses most of his friends.

Gary passed on.

And when Greg called me to say that he wanted to use this special end of Summer Labor Day

podcast as a memorial to the King of Barbecue, I knew it had to be an episode that includes

our favorite chef, the mad Cuban, Carl Reyes.

The problem is, where the fuck is Carl?

Now the last I had heard, he was hanging out with our Westwood One Podcast Networks Suit,

Tim Sabian and Robert Mathers.

Yeah, that's trouble to begin with, but Carl's a big boy and I'm guessing he's got his

face buried in vagina casserole where he's busy putting his new restaurant together.

Then I checked my Instagram feed for like three days.

And not one post from Carl.

Now, that's troubling because the chef posts himself drinking or eating something that would

put me in rehab or a hospital like every 10 minutes.

In fact, I may have lost five pounds not seeing his re-easing this past week because when

I do see his posts, I gotta eat.

So with that, OP put on his little Sherlock Holmes hat and began investigating things.

Because let's face it, we can't pay tribute to Gary of U-Bonds without Carl.

It just wouldn't be right.
