Paragliding has changed me in the way that it has given me a wonderful perspective,

both figuratively and literally, on life, in that sometimes there's a lot going on, but you have to,

like, keep calm, keep your braiding together and move forward with confidence.

And that's something that I bring with me to every aspect of my life.

Sarah Lockwood is with College outside, and it's an amazing

organization that helps to provide adventure sports outdoors gear to college outdoor programs.

But Sarah is here today, not necessarily just to talk about college and outdoor gear.

She's here today to talk about paragliding, and we were just

visiting. It has been a long time since the Adventure Sports podcast has done a show on paragliding.

We are overdue, and so I am super excited that Sarah is here to share with us today. Sarah, welcome

to the program. Thanks for having me. Oh, you bet. It's our pleasure. It's fun to talk about paragliding, but we have not talked about it in a long, long time.

And Sarah, for those people who maybe have never seen it, just give us a rough sketch.

What is paragliding?

Yeah, absolutely.

So, yeah, people often confuse paragliding, hang gliding, kiteboarding,

you know, base jumping. They kind of are all into this like sport that happens in the air.
