Summary

Today we host our Game Preview for the battle between the Detroit Lions and the Baltimore Ravens in week 3 2021 NFL season. The Baltimore Ravens are coming off of a tough loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Detroit Lions are coming off a heart-wrenching game filled with injury and players getting exposed against the Green Bay Packers. Both teams really need a win to get their seasons heading toward expectations – but only one of these teams expects to make the playoffs. Can the Detroit Lions play the role of spoiler? 0:52.4	My good friend and co-host, Tony, T.O. Ortiz. How are you doing, my friend? I'm doing, Chris. How are you doing this evening? Doing well, doing well. It's been a tough week for Lions fans. I think we got a little bit after watching the Packers that first week and our little comeback in the first week. You got maybe a little more inflated than we needed to.
1:12.8	Yeah, I think so.
1:17.1	The first, and you know what, didn't help the way they played in the first half against the Packers on Monday night.
1:23.5	It gave Lions fans a little bit of false hope, and it's like, you woke up a sleeping giant.
1:26.5	Or to use the phrase of Dan Campbell, you kind of kicked the Hornets nest.
1:29.4	And the next thing you know, the Hornets came out and stung you in the second half.
1:33.7	So, again, not unexpected. We both thought that the Packers were going to win that game.
1:39.0	But, you know, it's 2009 all over again, Chris.
1:44.3	And by that, I mean, when Jim Schwartz came in after 2008, there were some good pieces here.
2:02.9	He had some pieces to play with, but for the most part, you realize that this was going to be a rebuilding job. And I think what Dan Campbell has walked into is similar to what Jim Schwartz walked into. He knows it's a rebuilding job. They've got some good pieces, but there are going to be some big name players like a Jamie Collins who are eventually going to go. And they're going to try to build around the good pieces who want to be here.
