What's up everybody. Welcome to podcast number 356. I am your host, Reality Steve. Thank

you all for tuning in. Old school today. Kelly Joe Higgins, the runner-up on Bob Guinea's

season, season four of the Bachelor joins us for this podcast. And we will get to that

momentarily. Kelly Joe came about because of the vice show, Dark Side of the 2000s,

that aired about three weeks ago now. And in that special, they did an hour retrospective

on the Bachelor franchise. A lot about Mike Flice. A lot of the footage was from the earlier

seasons. And Kelly Joe was one of the six main people that they interviewed in present day

to talk about how the show was in its early go-round. And when they talked to Kelly Joe,

they had a particular segment where they had a screenshot of my old website where I used to,

obviously for years, I've written recaps of this show. And they said a blogger by the name of

Reality Steve called her Kelly Ho, which I did, which was utterly stupid and ridiculous.

And something I obviously regret. It was accepted at the time. Doesn't make it right.

But I reached out to Kelly right after that episode aired on Facebook. She responded right away.

She obviously, you know, 20 years later, she's married. She has kids. She's not

offended by it. She wasn't offended by it at the time because I even asked her,

you'll hear in the interview, did you even know I was saying this about you? And she said no.

So she wasn't really aware back then of what was being said. And that was in the very,

very early stages of my website. That might have been the first season that it actually was,
