0:29.1

Hello, everyone, and welcome to episode 348. Hi, Shawna. Hello. Hello. Hello. Shall we get right to it?

0:32.9

I can't see why we shouldn't. All right, what were you up to this week?

0:37.5

A couple things to mention this week. First of all, it was Elle's actual birthday.

0:39.5

We had her party before.

0:41.4

So now she is officially nine.

0:43.8

And my mind is blown. And one of the cutest things about her turning nine is she is very keen on now being a tween.

0:52.5

Like she actually, she's like, what are the official ages of tween, Mama? And I'm like,

0:57.4

I don't know. So of course, I had to Google it and find out. And, you know, there's varying responses.

1:02.0

But in general, it seems from like nine to 12 is tween. And oh my word, it's awesome. She is owning it.

1:10.8

She feels like very grown up, very proud. So I now officially have a tween. Oh my goodness. You and your tweenager. That seems too early. Like it's what? So you only get a couple years of being a kid, kid. And then you have to be a tween? Yeah, I guess so. Like, kids are like four to

1:29.7

eight or, I guess. I don't know. But yeah, so my little tween, we celebrated her by going out to dinner

1:40.1

with the family. We went swimming, shit or swimming less in that day. And I don't know. It was

1:44.9

just relaxed and very celebratory. And it was a nice day. Well, I very vividly remember her being

1:51.6

born. I mean, I wasn't in the room. But you did just tell the story a couple weeks ago. And I was in the

1:56.2

room shortly after, I guess. And I just, yeah, nine years has flown by. She's such a wonderful young

2:04.1

lady. And I'm just so happy that she's growing into her tween agehood with such grace.

2:09.9

Yeah, me too. The other thing to mention this week is that I got a day off of parenting.

2:17.4

What? How? Oh, I got a day off of parenting.

2:17.8

What?

2:18.5

How?

2:20.6

Oh, I got food poisoning.
