What's up everybody? Welcome to podcast number 348. I'm your host, Reality Steve. Thank you all

for tuning in. Got another great show for you today. It is Emily Longeretta, multi-time guest on

this podcast. She's the senior feature editor for Variety. Wanted to have her on this week to

talk about the strike that's going on with the Writer's Guild Association, Sag and after how it affects

what we're seeing on streaming, what we're going to see on Network TV, how long is this thing going

to last? Also, does it affect 90s con like we talked about earlier this week? So many things to talk

about Emily with and we'll get to that momentarily. So in talking to Emily, you will hear us cover all

those topics but before we get to her, I hope you all watched Temptation Island. Last night,

if not also the Big D, I thought two of the best episodes of the season. I almost can't wait till

next week's episode. I said this on the daily round of today. Next week's episode for Temptation

Island, it's like holy shit. It's already video time and we know one of the changes they made

to the beginning of the season is some of the singles can leave video messages for the people and

the couples, but we've seen the last bonfire. The end of last week's episode was the male bonfire,

every single one of those guys. Hall, great, Chris, Roberto were basically like, I'm done with who I

came here with. I'm done with my girlfriend slash fiance. Then at the beginning of last night's

episode, all those women were seemingly done with the men too. Like I would be stunned if any of

these couples stayed together at the end of this thing and even if they did, by the time they shot

the reunion show or in real time now, there's no way anyone's still together. Not a fucking chance.

And if it is, they're not lasting. I'm sorry, this thing was way too traumatic this season,
