So there's been some stuff happening, man, I mean, we're going to talk a little bit about today with our guests, of course.

But our guest today is a guy named Rowdy Kelly. He is a longtime member of the Bluff Creek Project, who've done some fantastic things with the Patterson Gimlin film. He is behind the scenes and all sorts of things that most of you have seen because he was a television producer, fixer and everything kind of guy. We're going to talk a little bit about that, that sort of thing because he's worked on most of the Bigfoot shows and a lot of other ones that you have not seen, documentaries that have yet to be produced, for example. But Rowdy, how you doing today, man? Thanks so much for coming on Bigfoot and Beyond with Cliff and Bobo and Matt somewhere back there. Hey, guys, it's awesome to be on here. Your pickings of us be pretty slim if you got me on,

huh? We got to call like 12 people before we got to you. Such a sad time right now,

but guys, you know, we're still all kind of trying to process this and come to terms with it,

so to say. I was just going to say, for those don't know, Stephen Streepard, if you saw Finding Bigfoot, he was on a couple episodes of that. He owned Bigfoot Books in Willow Creek. And he was kind of like the focal point, how Al Hotson was back in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. Steve's store after like became like the new Bigfoot like hangout kind of hotspot for the Willow Creek area for people, you know, out of state, out of country, people from all over the world would stop in. And he was just known as like at the center up there for like, you know, to get the latest info, what roads are up and where the settings have been. And then he was also probably more notorious for or infamous for is starting up the coalition for critical thinking and Saskwatt or Bigfoot Sasquatch research. Is that the title of Routy? Yeah, Bigfoot research. Yeah, you got it. Yeah, Bigfoot research. And he's, he reveled a lot of feathers on there, but he was great. He was always hilarious, total art skeptic, very confrontational and combative.

But it was pretty entertaining at times.

And he made a lot of great points.

He made a lot of contributions to the Bigfoot world.

But we were, I mean, Rowley and I went to college with Steve.

We've done Sturdy for 30-plus years. So, yeah, he's been a buddy for a long time.

Yeah, he died this past week, which is a huge tragedy. And another, another huge loss for the Bigfoot community. And I was super, super bummed out about it because, I mean, of course, Bobo and Rowdy had long history with the guy. I've known the guy since, I don't know, 2005, 7 or so. I don't even know what it was, but I'd love the guy. I just, I adored him and love spending time with him. He's going to be miss, so. Yeah, and actually, I, I didn't meet Stephen until 2011. I, I didn't know him in college. No, he and I didn't meet until 2011.

So I was on a reconnaissance, a BFRO reconnaissance through Robert Lighterman. And there was probably

a week out from you guys coming to Bluff Creek.

So we were doing kind of a reconnaissance for the 2011 Birth of the Legend show that you guys are on.

Anyway, that's when I met Stephen and was through Robert.
