I was really just in front of peak colors up in Minnesota and Iowa and Illinois and Wisconsin

and even into Missouri.

So that was just really gorgeous, seeing all those burnt oranges and reds.

It's like somebody melted crans into the trees.

Kurt here, I have Will Collins back with us, and a lot of you probably remember.

It wasn't that long ago that Will was on the show in episode 331.

He was a little over halfway down the Mississippi in a canoe,

canoeing the full length of the Mississippi from source to sea,

and he has completed the journey,

and I got him to commit to coming back on to telling us the second half the story,

so I'm so excited to hear about how the lower river went.

Last time we talked, he was near Cairo, Illinois.

And so he went from there down the rest of the river since then.

So Will, how long was it since we talked last?

It's probably been, what, a month?

Yeah, it's been a little while.

I don't know the exact number, but yeah, maybe a little over a month or so.
