Summary
This isn’t medical advice. Rather, it’s the story of how my son, and my daughter, and I–had oral surgery without the three classes of very toxic drugs now prescribed routinely in advance of surgery. I’m also trying out my new AI assistants, Betty and Bob, and would love to know what you think of them sharing this story with you! (It’s still my story, even if they review it!)

| 0:47.7 | basically like radio talk show hosts who are going through a piece I wrote about my family's experience with oral |
| 0:55.7 | surgery because it's become the de facto preemptive so that you don't get an infection |
| 1:01.8 | thing to have everybody before oral surgery take a steroid and an antibiotic and they give |
| 1:09.3 | you an opiate for pain killers. And so to me, that's just |
| 1:12.7 | like overkill. And so that's not what I do if there's an oral surgery in my family, and I wanted |
| 1:19.5 | to let my AI assistants tell you the story. Here it is. Okay, let's dive in. Imagine you're |
| 1:27.3 | facing oral surgery. You know, what's the usual |
| 1:29.6 | deal? Often it's, well, a stack of prescriptions, right? Antibiotics, steroids, maybe some strong |
| 1:35.7 | painkillers. But what if there was another way? A different path through that experience, |
| 1:40.9 | maybe avoiding a lot of those conventional drugs and, you know, their side effects. |
| 1:45.5 | That's exactly what we're getting into today. |
| 1:47.5 | We're looking at the experiences of Robin Openshaw. |
