Welcome, everybody. It is Thursday, November 7, 2013. We are going to talk about the economy today,

but before we do that, just a brief note that yesterday I saw an article from Business Insider.

Now, right away, you know this is bad news,

but it's the usual article on why falling prices are so bad. In fact, it actually was called something like, why falling prices are terrible. And yes, it's the usual arguments. They're

all so stupid. Like, these arguments are so dumb.

If prices keep falling, nobody will buy anything because they'll just keep waiting for them to fall further.

Now, I can off the top of my head think of at least two or three refutations of that.

But what I think I'm going to do is probably next week sometime I'll set aside one program.
