Well, we're really glad that you're with us for, I think, our last one of the series, right?

Season two, almost done.

And we're going to end on a good one.

It's a hard one, but a good one.

And actually, the way that this came about is quite funny because just the other week, I was going to go and speak at a church that I speak at

regularly and I already had a really crazy schedule and then the pastor of this church called me and said

by the way when you're here you're going to be in the middle of a series and I was like well that's nice for

you right I'm in the middle of a series or y'all are in the middle of a series exactly exactly how

the conversation went and I was like well what series am I in the middle of a series, or y'all are in the middle of a series. Exactly. Exactly. Exactly how the conversation went.

And I was like, well, what series am I in the middle of and said, oh, the beatitudes? I was like, okay, well, what number do I have? And said, oh, you'll be on week eight. So I quickly got my Bible out and realized, oh, yeah, no. I don't think I could do a message on that. And, you know, I realized in that moment, and here's the crazy thing,

I had no message

at all on this subject.

And the subject was persecution.

Wow.

And I thought to myself how many of us that have the job of communication don't go near

this subject because we'd rather say what people want to hear than maybe what they need to hear.

So I'm glad we're ending on this topic because I actually think it is time for us to talk more about the fact that in the beatitudes, it tells us there's one through to nine or one through to eight, however you count them.
