Yes, the wraparound season has started.

The Safeway is underway, of course, missing a very important part of what this week was supposed to be.

I was actually mid-flight to Oakland, California, to drive up to Napa.

I was excited, never spent any time in Napa.

I was going up simply to report and watch the circus that is a big Tiger Woods return to golf into the tour.

And mid-flight, news broke on Monday that Tiger was not going to play.

Of course, committed on Friday.

It was a very strange deal, especially considering all the hype that was surrounding this,

weeks and weeks of rumors. His website had had reports about him coming back. He talked about it at the

Ryder Cup, but he didn't do it. He was not going to play.

So I have Steve Flesh coming up on the podcast here in a little bit.
