I walked in through the train station and I bought some pastries to bring back to our hotel room one morning.

And I was looking at the window and they had these pretzels that had been sliced open and they were spread with something.

I couldn't tell if it was cheese or cream cheese or what.

And when I asked them, she said butter.

And I said, I'll take one of those.

And we're doing something a little bit different this week. So we've been putting out a bonus episode the last few weeks because we've been talking to folks who've been down at Disney World since the parks reopened. We don't have anyone on tap this week to discuss their recent trip or anything, but we thought we'd keep the bonus episodes going. So we thought we might do a little bit of bonus episode with just the two of us, because we're always talking to guests and not really doing a ton of the talking ourselves. I'm screening this on Sam a little bit, but I thought we could talk about some of our upcoming trips and what we're kind of excited about happening if they actually happened. So I thought we'd just take it in order. The first trip we got planned is Disney World at Christmas time, which I think when I

booked this trip, I was really excited for a couple reasons. One is, it was going to be a family

trip with my parents. And I don't think I've been, we haven't been back to Disney World with my

parents since I was a kid at Christmas time. That's when we used to go. And so I thought that'd be

fun. Yeah, and we booked a two bedroom at the Riviera on our DVC points. And so we were really excited about, you know, we sort of saved up some points so that we could do it up really nice at the Riviera and take the skyline. It was kind of the original reason I bought the points at Riviera was to do a Christmas trip every other year and do a two-bedroom and, you know, be able to invite someone to come along with us. So, you know, we're supposed to be down there at Christmas time.

We live in the Seattle area, as you know, if you listen to our podcast. And so, you know, there's not really a way for us to drive to Disney world because it would just add too much time on both ends of our trip. And so it's really

Everything we're hearing from our guests on the show has been once you're in that Disney

bubble, everyone feels really totally safe and feels like Disney is taking all the precautions

both in the resorts and in the parks that are really important to, you know, stopping the spread of COVID-19. And everyone I've talked to, too, has said for the most part, they've felt safe on the airplanes. It's really been the airports themselves that have felt unsafe. I mean, Justin, he was on the show and he promised me a drink if we're down there at Christmas time, which I'm going to take him up on. You know, he's actually immunocompromise, he said. And so, you know, I mean, traveling right now is pretty dangerous proposition for him. And so, you know, but he said he felt safe on the airplane. But certainly the getting their aspect has consistently been kind of the sticking point for people. I'll say I'm also, you know, I mean, for my first trip back to the Z world at Christmas time right now. There won't be a parade.

Like Wilderness Lodge is insulated to be open and I've heard that that is like a must-see. Right. You know, in terms of Christmas time. Yeah, there's not parades right now, no fireworks. I mean, I almost wonder like what the crowds are going to be like if they're going to be any. I know, I certainly don't want it to be crowded, but that also, you know, Disney.
