The whole tragedy that happened on the last day of Passover at a synagogue in San Diego.

It could have been a lot worse than it was. There were a lot of things that happened,

providential and personal that came into play that prevented this from being a massacre.

Nevertheless, obviously, just an awful thing to happen at an awful time. We will examine

why awful things happen, how to respond to them and how even to talk about them. But first,
