| 0:15.2 | You just get to look at his car's ass. |
| 0:17.6 | I keep craning my neck. |
| 0:19.5 | I'm trying to see what's up there, but obviously you can't. There's so many cars in the way. It's like I keep thinking, oh, if I just stretch my neck enough, I'll suddenly see what's, like, why can't they just move? There's all these cars and they're not moving. Yeah, I mean, this road always gets like this. It's enraging, actually. Yeah, thank God they added those lanes, hey? Those extra lanes, they were just zooming. |
| 2:18.9 | That's perfect. What happens is, yeah, like the outflows of these big bridges, these big roads, those outflows aren't ready for more capacity, so the extra lanes don't do anything. In theory, the people who are moving on should be in the far left lanes. But, you know, people don't drive like that all the time because they're like, I'm just going to stay in the right lane so that I don't ever have to cross all these lanes. Or people who are getting out here are going to drive as far as they can in the far left lane and then try to cross across everybody. I mean, all these cars are just sitting here. They're burning gasoline, just putting out all their emissions. And then we're just, like, sitting here, breathing those emissions directly. Yeah. You know, this highway used to be a black community. They, like, evicted everyone, demolished all the buildings. Right. But a highway through the city. Many such cases. What is it about being in a car? Like, why do people act this way? It's like, honestly, like, I'm getting a little enraged. I just want to move. And the fact that I can't, the fact that I'm trapped, like an animal in a cage, it's not a good feeling. Oh, you feel a lot more trapped. One of the places you feel most trapped in the world. Like, you just can't go. You're stuck from moving. You're being prevented from moving when you want to move. Really, the only time that happens is in a car. Yeah. If you're grabbed by, like, a big person or something. Yeah. But that's a very rare occurrence in my life. I mean, like, yeah, you're metaphorically trapped at work, and that feeling sucks, too. But at least you physically could stand up and walk out if you wanted to, but in a car, like, you can't move. Yeah. You can go to the washer, and you can walk around at work. You can, like, slack off. you can, I you can I don't know man I'm getting maybe if we threaten the people in front of us with weapons right yeah |
| 2:24.2 | would move yes let people do that it's all one I kind of want to do that you don't have any weapons do you |
| 2:29.6 | I don't yeah but look this car next to us one person in in it, behind them, one person in it. |
| 2:35.0 | There's like five seats in all these cars, one person, one person. |
| 2:37.0 | Like, do you see any other cars around us that have two or more people in it? |
| 2:41.0 | They've got this whole huge machine that they're just like to move themselves around personally. |
| 2:46.0 | Just in a pragmatic sense, like the amount of energy it takes to do that, and whether it's like |
| 2:50.0 | electric, renewable energy, batteries or whatever, or gasoline, like you're using more energy than is required to move people around. And like some of these cars are so fucking big. Like, look at this truck. Like, what's the blind spots on this truck? Like, you could stand five feet in front of this truck and it could just not even see you. Like, have you ever driven one of those things? It's like a tank. I don't know. This, uh... You know the companies that make these trucks? They buy carbon offsets from electric car companies. So, like, even if you drive an electric car, you're actually legally allowing these enormous fucking cars to be built and like the truck bed |
| 3:27.0 | empty look truck bed's empty they're not moving anything just driving around in that it's like a |
| 3:32.1 | piece of clothing oh look at my cool necklace hey look at my huge enormous truck that would kill |
| 3:37.6 | children easily and destroys the planet over time. |
| 3:42.3 | Look, I've got Bluetooth. |
