President Trump has just dropped a political bombshell at sending shockways through Wall Street and Washington.

Trump has officially called for the immediate resignation of Federal Reserve

Chair Jerome Powell, slamming him for doing a lousy job and keeping interest rates sky high

while American families struggle. This was just announced minutes ago. President Trump has taken

to true social, and he's demanding that Jerome Powell stepped down

right now immediately. Trump's message is clear. America needs lower interest rates and real

economic growth, not more the same failed policies from the Fed that oversaw Biden's dithering

economy. Now, the question, of course, here is what are Trump's option? Can he actually get rid of

Powell? And what does this mean for your wallet? So I want to break that down for you. So bottom line,

President Trump has had enough of the Federal Reserve dragging its feet with interest rates.

He's blasted Jerome Powell for refusing to cut the interest

rates. Basically, Powell is basically holding Trump's tariffs hostage. So in effect,

Powell is saying, I'll drop the interest rates when you drop the tariffs. That's basically

the cat and mouse game that's being played here. Powell hates tariffs. And obviously, Trump isn't dropping them.

So Trump's argument is that interest rates should be at around 1% to jumpstart the economy,

not stuck in the 4% range where they've been for years now. That's a lag from Biden's awful
