episode. Mm-hmm. But first, Bria, what are you reading? I am reading a book I mentioned briefly on the last episode.

It's called Candelaria, a novel by Melissa Lozada Oliva.

I have not heard of this. Okay I don't know where I got this recommendation from but I saw

it on a couple of lists I feel like I feel like and also Jamie Loftus wrote

one of the blurbs and I like that Jamie Loftus wrote Raw Dog, which was one of my favorite non-fiction books.

I've read this year about hot dogs.

This is nothing to do with that.

This book, I don't even know how to begin to explain it, but I think you would really like it,

Mallory. I would say it's horror, apocalyptic, weird fiction.
