Summary

The Supreme Court’s Friday ruling has sent shockwaves through the legacy media and leftist legal circles, reigniting the national debate over birthright citizenship. In this episode, we expose the widespread misrepresentation of the 14th Amendment, break down the constitutional argument against granting citizenship to children of illegal migrants, and highlight how President Trump’s executive order challenges decades of judicial activism. Local news is melting down, but the legal foundation is clearer than ever.

Highlights:

  • “These local news affiliates aren’t even trying to appear objective or unbiased. They are 100% behind this absolutely absurd notion that illegal migrants, who have no legal claim whatsoever to being here, can give birth automatically to US citizens.”
  • “There is no birthright citizenship in the constitution.”
  • “Illegal migrants are subject to our territorial jurisdiction in that they have to abide by and are responsible to the laws of our land, but they are not subjects of our political jurisdiction, in that they’re still the citizens of the country they left.”

So Democrats and the legacy media are starting to flip out over the ramifications of Friday's

0:27.9

ruling from the Supreme Court. Here's just a sampling of the local news stories that broke out

0:35.5

over the weekend. Check this out. In just a matter of weeks, people

0:39.6

who are born in the U.S. won't necessarily be American citizens automatically. That's because

0:44.9

the Supreme Court will allow an executive order issued by the president changing the

0:49.5

interpretation of the 14th Amendment to go into effect. Yeah, let me just stop there really quickly because I think we're already seeing a bit of a straw

0:58.7

man here. I mean, obviously, obviously not everyone born in the United States gets automatic

1:04.9

American citizenship, right? I mean, the 14th Amendment does not, it emphatically does not say

1:10.0

that all persons born in the U.S.

1:12.6

are citizens. There is no such thing as birthright citizenship, which I hope to show you in the

1:17.7

course of this video. But, I mean, for example, a child born in the United States to a foreign

1:22.3

diplomat is not a citizen. A foreign diplomat can serve here in the United States for years, have lots and

1:29.5

lots of kids born here, not a single one of those children will be counted automatically as a citizen,

1:35.7

not one. There are all kinds of exceptions to this. The 14th Amendment does not apply to tourists.

1:41.8

It doesn't apply to ambassadors. Again, there are all kinds of exceptions

1:46.7

in what President Trump's executive order on birthright citizenship is basically done, as I'll

1:52.1

explain in due course, is he's overturned an absurd footnote to a ruling back in the 1980s by a radical leftist Supreme Court justice

2:04.2

that claimed that babies born to illegal migrants were automatically citizens.
