One of the things President Trump has been most consistent about are his feelings for John McCain.

I was never a fan of John McCain and I never will be.

I mean that's it. Right there, there it is. And still the media is like,

Mr President, Mr President, how could you say this? Right there it is. And still the media is like,

Mr President, Mr President, how could you say something

like that about a dead man and a hero?

Well, that's been his position on John McCain

since anyone can remember.

Remember, I like the ones who weren't captured?

I mean I don't know what these people expect.

Of course Trump is going to double down.

He's Trump.

And yet they ask him questions about McCain as if he's going to change his tune and all of a sudden and say,

oh well you know for all of his flaws John McCain was a brave hero and a dear friend.

Folks that's never going to happen because that's never been Trump's position and you know it.

So of course he's doubling, tripling down.

And if you are so offended by his position and think it's so unseemly,

why don't you, I don't't know not ask him about McCain you want to know why it's

because they want the quote they want Trump to say what he says because they are

dying for Trump to go after McCain so that they can

pretend to be outrage and then they can go and write that story about how erosive
