Contextually, in the midst of that, the Apostle Paul is he learned to get by with a little,

and he learned to get by with a lot when it comes to his daily sustenance.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

But what we do is we misapply that to be anything.

Right?

I mean, just name it.

Name it, and it's going to fall into place.

Yeah, and boy, this is so key when it comes

to hermeneutics, right? Proper interpretation of scripture. Let me read the context of that. I was about to say,

yeah, please. So Philippians 4, 10 to 13, but I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last, your care for me

has flourished again, though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.

Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am to be content.

I know how to be abased and I know how to abound. Everywhere and on all things, I've learned,

both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

See that?

You get the context.

Paul is talking about no matter what situation he's in.

He's suffering, he's abounding.

He can what?

He can be sustained because of Christ

and he can endure all those sorts of things.
