Spring is in the air.

I'm not going to go and say it has officially sprung

but we're getting close and spring to a lot of folks including myself means it's time to talk Turkey but today we're going to talk

maybe less about Turkey tactics and more a state of the wild turkey union.

Some incredible memories adorning your wall, including one absolutely beautiful caribou bull where we ended up doing

almost like a state of the the caribou union podcast there before we got started here but

might have to do that one down the road yeah for sure that was a that

was an incredible hunt it's been a long that was like I told you it was a long time

ago but it was it was certainly memorable I mean it sounds memorable things have changed over time and that that can definitely be

the case you know I mean in some ways some parallels with what we're going to talk

about today as far as like you know you

hunted a herd that was you know up up up and then you know saw a decline for

for a variety of reasons including predation and you know we're seeing some

parallels you know with with our wild turkeys these days in the turkey world. Yeah. Yeah, sure. Before we get too deep here

Maybe tell us a little bit about yourself your personal background as it relates to turkeys and
