As you may have seen, a wonderful brother named Jonathan Price was murdered by police this weekend in Wolf City, Texas,

which is about an hour north of Dallas. I want to break down that case and even more I want to break down

something disturbing and even dangerous that I see happening in regards to his case. I see us, our own folk sharing some previous Facebook post that he made, almost insinuating that he doesn't deserve our support for some reason.

I want to explain it to you and tell you why that's wrong.

Jonathan Price, was seen as a hometown hero, a legend.

He was a mentor, an advocate.

He was seen as an inspirational leader.

He was frequently a speaker at rallies at sporting events.

He was a personal trainer.

He was actually an employee under contract with Wolf City itself. And in a lot of ways, he was seen as, forgive me for anybody who finds this offensive.

In Wolf City, Jonathan Price was seen as the black man that white people could trust.

And I don't mean that as any insult to Jonathan, to his

to his legacy.

He existed in a lot of ways

as a bit of a bridge builder between white and black culture.

And there is a Facebook post that Jonathan made that's kind of gone viral in its own right and I even had several friends of

mine send it to me today where Jonathan posted and and hell I appreciate it
