Hello everybody. I'm Bill Dance. And another episode of the Tackle Talk podcast, and today we have a very important, very transparent, exclusive sit-down to update the public on American Legacy

Fishing and a new company led by some familiar faces stepping in to pick up the torch.

So I've thought a lot about how I wanted to begin this show, because on one hand, as I sit

here, I have probably an hour's worth of thoughts that I would love to throw out there

and provide some context and my personal thoughts and things that I would just love to say

before we get into this conversation. But then on the other hand, part of me wants to just say,

hey, I think this conversation does a really great job of addressing everything, past,

present, and future. And I want to let it speak for itself.

Let's just roll it. And I think I'm going to end up probably somewhere in the middle here.

So I want to start with the obvious, right? You heard on this show probably a month or so ago at this

point, American Legacy Fishing went out of business. The owners closed the doors, they laid off the staff, they stopped everything.
