Hello and welcome Surviving Sister Wives.

I'm Corey.

And I'm Carly, and this is Sister Wives Season 20, Episode 9, Standoff at Coyote Pass,

the end of an era. Standoff, it's not much of a standoff here, really. It's all kind of built up in

everybody's heads as something completely different than what it actually is.

Built up in everybody's heads is the exact right way to describe this.

There are a lot of things happening that weren't actually happening.

And then a lot of things that weren't happening that should have been happening.

Well, I feel like that is the summation of this show.

That's what it usually ends up being. The problem that we've seen is that there's not as much interaction. And now

you literally have a scene where they're not interacting with each other. And that's the problem.

Well, some of what we saw in this episode, Shira comes to the rescue to make things fair. The Coyote Pass standoff ends in a stalemate.

Janelle celebrates by eating bugs. Mary enters her sugar mama era and Cody finally realizes he

desperately needs therapy. Too little too late, I think on that one. Perhaps, maybe.

It's going to take years for him to unravel what's going on upstairs.

I think he needed to have an earlier midlife crisis for him, even though he does think that he's going to live to be about 150, 160, 70, 80.

He might.

He's trying. He's pickling himself with all these supplements.

He is biohacking this. He's figuring out all the ways to prolong this and extend his midlife crisis into his 60s.
