Summary
Dane Baptiste was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the first Black British comic to ever be nominated. This led to Dane creating, writing and starring in ‘SunnyD’ on BBC Three. The show was purchased by Lionsgate, for an American version. His live shows have sold out internationally and been adapted for shows such as ‘Live At The BBC’ on Netflix and ‘Live At Soho Theatre’ on Amazon Prime. Dane has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Black, British and Funny, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, Roast Battle, Comedians Giving Lectures, Hypothetical, Tonight at the London Palladium, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled and many more. Dane has his own highly successful podcast, ‘Dane Baptiste Questions Everything’ .
