a few updates. In response to our discussion about choosing the right word for a situation,

we got a big kick out of this. Yes, Katie said this whole conversation reminds me of something

similar, although it's framing a situation with a whole phrase instead of one word. I

recently started a new job as a corporate engineering manager in a large company with multiple

manufacturing facilities that each get a portion of the company's capital budget. Understandably,

there is a lot of competition and vying for funds and there are often strong feelings
