podcast you're in the teamer Trent and I wanted to chat with you today about a little thing called PME or

professional military education, as it is known in the Air Force.

So, before we dive into like since we're on this kind of

fix it rant kind of trend that we've been going on fix fixing things that I don't necessarily think anybody will listen to or you know has

very much thought behind maybe.

Just making suggestions you know? There's a lot of feelings behind some of the

the prior stuff or maybe some historical data past experiences. But anyway, so before I turn it over to you there Trent, let's talk about what the current construct is in terms of professional military education or PME, at least on the illicit side and we'll dive into

the officer side, which is a little bit more robust and kind of all over the place at the same time.

And you can tell because the product is so much better.

I don't know if that's being

Sorry, so in terms of current construct of PMA, I mean all the way from the very beginning you have basic training, BMT, basic military training, and then depending on what your school is or what your specialty is going to be or your Air Force specialty code is you'll have your technical school, your tech school.

So that's where you learn how to do your job, just like BMT is where you learn all the basics of being in the military, rank structure,

organizational structure, marching, all that kind of stuff, right?

So after you get to Texas, marching, all that kind of stuff, right?

So after you get to tech school,

or after you complete tech school, rather,

and then you end up at your first base,
