I hope that you've had it great week.

Now I know a lot of you love true crime stories and I do too.

And I came across this incredible documentary on HBO Max and the minute I started watching

it, I knew I had to talk to the director.

Her name is Melanie Perkins.

And have you seen Andy is the personal story of her childhood friendship that was abruptly

ended when her friend was abducted as a young boy.

On a hot summer day in 1976, 10-year-old Andy Paglisi was playing along with dozens

of other children at the Higgins Memorial Pool in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

And then suddenly he disappeared.

So 22 years later, she begins to search for answers in this feature-length documentary.

So Melanie and Andy had met at the pool late in the morning on August 21 of 1976.

And as usual, they spent the entire day playing there.

So at about two o'clock that afternoon, Melanie was hungry and decided to go home.

And while she usually walked by herself to her mother's apartment, which was less than

200 yards away, on this occasion, she was afraid to go alone.

Andy was not ready to leave.

So Melanie's 11-year-old brother Jeff walked her home.

Melanie last saw Andy sitting by the pool in his green bathing trunks, talking with friends.

Later at around 3.30 pm, Andy calls home.
