Summary
Episode 32: Ever find yourself in a situation where everything you thought you knew about yourself was inaccurate? Frances is joined by Melissa, who tells her story of realizing the reason why she "couldn't find the right man" was because she was looking at… men. At 29, she finds the love of her life and due to medical issues, within a year, they are trying to grow their family. Along the way, she struggles with acceptance, infertility, jealousy and at one point, is told her circumstances will irreversibly "harm" her unborn child. But it does get better… In honor of Pride Month, we discuss the unique struggles faced by those in the LGBTQ community when it comes to "coming out," romantic relationships, family and parenting. Enjoy!
