It was a big week. All Steny Hoyer had to do was sit

there state of the union we had the uh Republican pie fight and we had a couple of notable

deaths that were uh especially meaningful to us I suppose celebrity deaths as far as those can be

meaningful yeah that's kind of where I wanted to

start. Start was David Bowie. We started the week with David Bowie dying, and that was a shock.

It was. And you're a huge Bowie fan. I'm a big Bowie fan, but you're a huge Bowie fan. I'm a giant

Bowie nerd. I have a Bowie book. I have biography.

I had, I think, pretty much every record.

I'm sure I missed a couple, but I used to scour tower record and wax tracks and those

little off, off the main drag record shops in Chicago looking for the weird imports.

The movie, High Fidelity, I go to that kind of record shop looking for the Christian F soundtrack in German.
