1:16.4 | with liberal justices, liberal justices always go in the way of Democratic dogma, no matter what |
1:22.4 | the law says, no matter what the Constitution says. So that means liberal activism at the expense |
1:28.4 | of your civil liberties. If they do that, if they abolish the electoral college, if they decide |
1:34.4 | they're going to give statehood to Puerto Rico and DC, if they decide that they are going to be |
1:39.8 | able to reconfigure the Senate, which of course would be hard to do, but many people on the left do not |
1:45.5 | believe that the Senate should have the same number of representatives, the same number of |
1:51.9 | senators per state, they believe like the House of Representatives that should be based on population. |
1:58.0 | If that happens, it will no longer be a democracy. We will no longer live in a representative |
2:04.5 | democracy in a republic. The middle of the country, the minority will not have a say at all. The |
2:11.6 | way our system is set up now, it makes sure that the 51 percent are not tyrannically ruling over |
2:18.7 | the 49 percent. That is how our country was set up intentionally and abolishing the electoral |
