Welcome to the next episode of What's Next with Eric Wood. Our next guest is relatively new to the

Louisville area, but has quickly become one of my good friends and is doing great things at the

University of Louisville, and that's Chris Mack. Chris is the head men's the University of Louisville and that's Chris Mack.

Chris is the head men's basketball coach at Louisville taking over the job in 2018 and he is a

phenomenal person. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati and played basketball

for Evansville and Xavier from 1988 to 1993.

After his playing days, he became a coach, eventually spending almost a decade as head coach at Xavier before moving down to Louisville and actually moving into my neighborhood down here.

On this podcast, Chris and I talk about his journey in coaching, leading him to now the University of Louisville. We talk about

his top leadership qualities in an individual. We talk about the core values of his team and much

more. We even get into the real athlete of the family. His wife, Christy, a Louisville native herself,

former Miss Kentucky basketball, and she played at the University of Dayton.
