I'm so excited for this week's episode, so we are going to dive right into it.

I am talking with Audrey and she is just a badass birth worker. Like she is a midwife, well she calls herself a birthkeeper,

and she's going to explain to us what that means,

but we're talking about how sometimes when people are like okay well you don't want this

situation done to you then just have a home birth or just free birth or just you

know look for these outside resources we're gonna talk about how that's not always as easily

said as done, but we're also going to talk about taking radical responsibility for your

birth, which can be hard to hear sometimes because the system isn't set up for us to do that.

We are set up to just believe whatever providers are telling us, but most of the time they are

also operating out of fear and don't believe that pregnancy

and birth is like a normal thing, that it's something that needs to be interrupted,

something that needs to be calculated,

something that needs to be medicalized,

and so it's a really great episode.
