Should all acquaintance be forgotten, I've never brought to mind.

Should all acquaintance be forgot for the sake of all blank sight,

for all blank sign, my dear. Well, happy new years everyone. This is Michael Moore. This is my podcast,

rumble with Michael Moore. And I was thinking about what to say to you today, tonight, or maybe it's already turned into New Year's Day, or it's New Year's Week.

This was some year, folks. This was a crazy year.

And yet, I have a lot of crazy weird optimism about the coming year, which means it could all go to hell in a handbasket

as far as I know. I mean none of us know we don't have a crystal ball.

But I thought I would just end the year

with just a quick recap of what we've been through.

But what we may not have to go through in the coming year. In other words, we may find ourselves

a bit surprised by the way things could turn around. I know, a lot of you are not hopeful and you feel

helpless and I don't blame you because there is at least a portion of every single day. I feel that way.

But usually by the end of most days, I have the sense of maybe, just maybe, we can turn this around.

It doesn't have to be this way. We don't have to be this way to each other. We could wake up.

We could realize the job that we have in front of us and how we can actually accomplish it.

You know, I have never been drunk.

That's the God's honest truth.

I'm not bragging about that.

I'm not saying that I've been a good boy.

I don't know why this thought came into my head today probably because, you know, alcohol is often involved on this particular day and thinking about how I've never been drunk, which is weird, right? I mean, was I never young, did I not live a life?

How could that happen? Am I not Irish? I probably never

really liked the taste of most alcohol.
