So we recorded this episode probably about an hour after the Olivia Wilde, Jason Sadek

is news head broke. And since then, they responded with a joint statement, which I mean, we haven't

heard them do a joint anything in a while. So we just wanted to read that statement and then kind

of discuss it a little bit more in a soft open now that it's been 24 hours or so after the news broke.

So in a statement to people, they said, as parents, it's incredibly upsetting to learn that a former

nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about

us publicly. Her now 18 month long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones close friends

and colleagues, has reached his unfortunate apex. We will continue to focus on raising and protecting

our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone.

So they're pretty much saying that everything she said was false.

Right. And in our discussion, we talk about it as if it's true because that was the only

information we had at the time, although we do repeatedly say, you know, you have to take everything

with a great assault. And I'm sure the reality of the situation here is that there are some things

that are true and there are some things that are fabricated or exaggerated and you know, I don't

think it's 100% sure 100% false. Oh, I think that there's probably a gray area. I mean,

I'm sure we said this in the discussion. It still feels like one of those things where if you're

the nanny, you feel really wronged and you want to be able to share your story, especially because

you feel that it was wrongful termination or at least termination that didn't allow you to

click unemployment. At the same time, if you're them, this feels highly, highly intrusive and

you know, like very intimate details about your family dynamic and family structure being shared.

So it's kind of a shitty situation all around. Of course. And I mean, based on their statement,

it's clear that she's been using the story against them for months. And I will say that I think
