Nikola Yokich gets a new mark in the NBA, Tiger opens the Masters under par and we preview

I'm Jake Crane and welcome to Crane and Company.

The NBA is a star driven league that relies on individual superstars to drive fans to

the seats, sell jerseys, raise popularity, and grow the leagues reach around the globe.

So me being critical of a certain player not getting enough publicity is a rarity when

it comes to the National Basketball Association.

Today, however, I'm saying just that.

Jokich is doing historical things at the young exuberant age of 27, coming off an MVP

year about to win another one, yet we don't really hear as much about him as we do the

other stars.

He just started his own statistical club after logging 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, and

500 assists in a single season.

Oh, and by the way, he's the only player to ever do that.

LeBron didn't do it, not Kobe, not Michael Jordan, not anybody.

He also happens to be 6,11, 285 pounds.

Being that size opens the door to be in the butler for the Adams family after his basketball

career is over.

And most everything you hear about in the NBA revolves around a couple players and franchises

that drive narratives, expose his beef, and gives the NBA somewhat of a TMZ vibe.

But sometimes being all about ball is quite the breadth of fresh air.

Very rarely do you hear anyone talk about Jokich outside of his stellar on court performances,
