Welcome back to another week's episode of Reality Life with Kate Casey. This week, I found out

that it's the 11-year anniversary of the first episode of Real Housewives of Orange County,

which is crazy if you think about all the seasons that they've been able to do.

I remember it very clearly. I would work out in the gym of my apartment building and watch

every episode and was immediately sucked in, became so obsessed with the show. It reminded me of

the fact that I loved to read my mom's yearbook and to read all the stories in it and find out

like what happened at the reunions. It's sort of the same thing. Like, I've always loved

stories about people's lives, so I love the Real Housewives because it's sort of like sucked you

in and you can learn about every aspect of their life. So it's hard to believe 11 years has gone by

and also made me think about this show that they used to have called High School Reunion, where

they would take a high school from the middle of America and bring people back like 15 years later

and they would stay in a hotel or like some rented home in Hawaii for a week or two

and reconnect old loves. It was awesome. That show, I wish they would bring that back.

So that's fun. This week I'm really excited because I tracked down Jason Waller from Laguna Beach

and the Hills and I think he's got some really interesting information about what it's like to be

on a reality show as a 17-year-old and how that may have played into his addiction issues and

where he is today. He's married and has a baby on the way, so it's really, really sweet.
