The foreword was written by the very respected China Hand and Scholar Dr Joseph Needham.

He's considered, hands down, the greatest Western scholar of the history of scientific development in China.

Dr. Needham's Magnum Opus is called Science and Civilization in China.

27 volumes and still growing, even after his death in 1995.
