Hey lovely listeners, welcome back to Crime Analyst and the Intelligence Cell.

Now a quick health warning in caveat before we get started.

0:15.6

You're going to hear about real victims, real cases, real perpetrators and their behavior at real crime scenes.

0:22.1

There are going to be some graphic details throughout this podcast series.

Unfortunately it comes with the territory. Murder is distressing. Victims being killed and harmed

0:31.6

is a truly terrible business. These episodes may be triggering or upsetting, so please be warned

in advance. So let's dive right back in. In the last episode I talked with Richard McCann about

0:43.3

his mum Wilmer. What an amazing man he is, hey. Well one other thing I wanted to highlight was the

1:26.9

subjected others to in leaving Wilmer there displaying and posing her body as he did.

1:32.9

Now in terms of behavioural analysis this is instructive, and it's something I now know to

1:37.2

look out for in future offenses. And of course in my work I'm interested in patterns, behavioral

1:43.7

patterns, patterns regarding victim selection, days, dates, times, locations, geography,

1:49.9

sexual acts, level of violence used, and things that they do at the scene and importantly what they

1:54.7

don't do. Violence happens on a continuum and you need to figure out what you're looking for and

2:00.4

what you're looking at, and you do need to understand behaviour, and more importantly psychology
