For all the negative things people can say about James Dolan, he is a loyal guy.

I know Isaiah, his goal is to win the championship.

And Isaiah Thomas is a great example of that.

Isaiah is a really engaging charismatic person.

As an athlete, as a competitor in this business, you can never have the mindset settling

for second.

Jim Dolan, like a lot of NBA owners, likes being around celebrity.

Jim is somebody who thrives on validation.

While Isaiah Thomas is a friend of mine, a very good friend of mine,

thrives on people telling him how great he is.

Don't forget, even after he finally did fire him, he tried to bring him back.

What would you say are the chances that we're sitting here

and you're involved with the Knicks? That's a slippery slope question. I think you can try to get

Machiavellian and kind of describe all these as ulterior motives. I just think, you know,

why is your best friend your best friend? Because they are. I just know that Jim Dolan listens to

Isaiah Thomas and still listens to Isaiah and he doesn't listen to many people.
