Being Tiger Woods was a grind and it wore him down and he wasn't so happy in his life as we all assumed he was.

You know, if you define success for Tiger as winning tournaments and winning majors, then it should have been over the moon.

But I think it became mature to him and he lost some of that passion that he had, you know,

the turn of the century, you know, that helps explain how did Tiger allow everything to crumble?

You know, there's an element of self-sabotage, right?

I mean, in this media environment that we're in, did he really think he could get away with it forever?

I mean, it's hard to imagine.

A 40-year-old whose last PGA tour win came in April of 2013.

That was before Jordan Speath was even a PGA tour winner.
