the the precipice of last episode I've I've come across this topic quite a lot because I'm an avid reader of fantasy but then when Dan pitched this episode and said this is what we're going to be talking about I realized that I haven't actually looked into the original myth itself. So I'm very interested.

So today's guest is Terry Gunnell.

This is Terry's third appearance.

And Terry is a professor emeritus in folkloristics at the University of Iceland.
