Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley intended for a committee vote to happen today that would advance Judge Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court to the next phase.
1:03.0	Democrats are using a committee rule that will push this vote another week.
1:07.1	Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has indicated that they are planning to have Kavanaugh
1:11.2	confirmed by October 1st in time for the new Supreme Court term.
1:16.2	Well, those rumors about John Carey doing shadow diplomacy turned out to be true, it seems.
1:21.7	In an interview on Wednesday with radio host Hugh Hewitt,
1:25.3	the former Secretary of State admitted
